Here’s our list of all-time favorites – Top 10 Jamaican beaches

  1. Negril’s 7-mile beach – what could top seven miles of white sand beach?
  2. Silver Sands beach in Trelawny – paradise.
  3. Winnifred beach in Portland – it’s all about the setting.
  4. San San beach in Portland – shallow and nice.
  5. Boston beach in Portland – mainly because it’s two minutes walk from world famous Boston jerked pork.
  6. Doctor’s Cave beach in Montego Bay – a place that both locals and tourists enjoy.
  7. Lime Cay off the coast of Kingston – now if only the authorities would rid it of all those rats.
  8. Strawberry Fields in St. Mary – it takes some driving and searching to find it, but definitely well worth it in the end.
  9. Sugarman’s Beach in St. Catherine – located right next door to the more popular Hellshire beach, but minus the hustlers, flies and garbage.
  10. Frenchman’s Cove in Portland – an outstanding setting, where a tiny river meets the ocean.
